According to Sanjay Budhia, Chairman of the CII National Committee on EXIM, high interest rates and a sharp drop in export finance are making it difficult for Indian exporters to meet their liquidity needs. Particularly for MSME exporters, who form the foundation of India's export ecosystem, these constraints are reducing their ability to compete in international markets. Budhia has called on banks and the government to work together to develop practical solutions in order to lessen these difficulties.
