A lightweight wearable robot created by South Korean researchers can approach paraplegic users and secure itself to them, allowing them to move, negotiate obstacles, and ascend stairs. According to the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) Exoskeleton Laboratory team, their objective is to build a robot that can be easily incorporated into the everyday lives of people with impairments.
