Accenture and Workday have announced a joint forward-deployed engineering program to help organizations put AI agents to work in HR and finance. Through the program, teams from both companies will work alongside client HR and finance staff to bring agentic capabilities into production, aiming to get Workday agents running faster and deliver return on investment sooner. The approach combines Accenture’s functional, industry, and engineering expertise with Workday’s agentic platform, operating within each client’s actual processes, data, policies, and controls. Accenture will draw on its own experience deploying and extending Workday’s agentic capabilities at enterprise scale; those insights are expected to inform both Workday product innovation and Accenture’s client methods. Beyond client engagements, Accenture engineers will collaborate with Workday’s product and technology teams to build new agentic capabilities on the platform.
