Infosys AI services accounted for more than 8% of revenue last quarter and are growing at a double-digit sequential rate. CEO and managing director Salil Parekh said the business could drive almost half of the company’s work in two to three years. Speaking at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum 2026, he said that if the current pace continues, AI services could already represent 20–30% of work within a few quarters. The work includes building AI agents and coding and modernizing older technology for clients. Parekh described demand as huge and said the trend is good news for Infosys and for India’s tech services industry. Infosys hired 20,000 college graduates last year and plans another 20,000 this financial year; they are trained in AI and deployed to help clients implement the technology and manage change. Of about 300,000 employees, roughly 80,000 already work on coding tools for clients or internal projects.
