Amazon and Google have launched a multicloud networking service aimed at enhancing connectivity and minimizing disruptions following an AWS outage that cost U.S. companies an estimated $500 million to $650 million. The service allows companies to establish private, high-speed links between AWS and Google Cloud in minutes. "This collaboration... represents a fundamental shift in multicloud connectivity," said AWS VP Robert Kennedy. Salesforce is among the first to utilize this new approach.
