Jassy highlighted the necessity of significant capital expenditure for AI chips and datacenter infrastructure, having already invested $8 billion in AI startup Anthropic. The company recently unveiled an AI-enhanced Alexa assistant revamp, branded as Alexa+, integrating Anthropic's Claude software. "If your mission is to make customers' lives better and easier every day, you're going to invest deeply in AI," Jassy wrote.
