Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienced another brief outage spike on October 29, with complaints peaking around noon ET, particularly in the US-EAST-1 region. This followed a significant disruption on October 20, which affected over 2,000 Roblox users and 3,000 Snapchat users, among others. AWS acknowledged "increased error rates" and reported that its engineers are investigating the root cause. The disruption originated from its northern Virginia data center, affecting multiple services.
