Anthropic launched Claude Cowork on mobile and web. The rollout starts in beta for Max subscribers. It turns the tool into a cross-device platform where tasks can start on one device, run in the background, and be reviewed on another. Users can schedule work for specific times and Claude will execute autonomously even if the app is closed. Alongside the launch Anthropic shared usage data from 1.2 million anonymized sessions across more than 600,000 organizations. Business process and operations made up 33.4 percent of sessions. Content creation and copywriting accounted for 16.4 percent. The data highlights how people use the agent for the work around the work such as pulling updates into reports, building checklists, reconciling spreadsheets, drafting documents, and creating slide decks. Sessions now sync across devices. When human input is needed Claude surfaces questions to the phone. Desktop remains strongest for local files but web opens access in restricted environments.
