The Marin County Superior Court in the San Francisco Bay Area has completed a transition from outdated computer systems to digital services, aiming to modernize processes and increase public access to justice. The move was a practical matter, as the court's sprinkler system was not sufficient to protect its records in case of a fire. The court digitized all new and archived court documents and created an online portal to provide attorneys and the public access to case information. The court's case management systems were updated to automate case-processing workflows, and staff can now process case-related data and documents in real time with the help of artificial intelligence. Mission Critical Partners led a transformation project that improved the court's efficiency in processing records and documents, allowing staff more time for accurate document processing.
