You no longer need to repeat project details, preferences, or context when you switch from talking to handing off a task. Memory now builds during the conversation instead of waiting until the end to summarize. That makes the handoff faster even while a chat is still open. Users can view, edit, or delete any stored topic. The feature is on by default for Free, Pro, and Max plans on web, desktop, and mobile. Sensitive subjects such as health data, race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, politics, and gender identity stay out of memory unless you turn that option on. The app alerts you if a sensitive topic is added. Government IDs and Social Security numbers are never saved.
