Artificial Intelligence (AI) is integral today, with conversational AI and generative AI as distinct branches. There are two distinctive branches which emerged conversational AI and generative AI. Both artificial intelligence will support their own set of capabilities. In this article, we will be talking about the same in detail. Conversational AI enables human-machine interactions, seen in chatbots like Google Assistant. Trained on dialogues, it uses natural language processing to craft responses based on enriched knowledge bases. Generative AI autonomously produces content using deep learning and neural networks, evident in examples like ChatGPT. It identifies patterns in training data to create diverse outputs. Conversational AI focuses on human-like verbal interactions, while Generative AI creates content independently. Both coexist, exemplified by platforms like ChatGPT, showcasing versatility in the AI landscape.
