Micro and small enterprises (MSEs) are owed nearly ₹50,000 crore in delayed payments by ministries, departments, and PSUs, per government data. Since 2017, 2.18 lakh complaints worth ₹48,159 crore have been filed on the Samadhaan portal. Of these, ₹7,196 crore was resolved, ₹11,813 crore rejected, and ₹2,557 crore mutually settled. As of now, ₹12,955 crore in claims remains under review.
