A hacker infiltrated the TeleMessage service frequented by former Trump aide Mike Waltz, intercepting more data from US government officials than previously reported. Data leaked from over 60 unique government users involved various agencies, including customs, Secret Services, disaster response teams, and the White House. Although the usurped conversations were not sensitive, the presence of large amounts of metadata poses a counterintelligence risk. The use of TeleMessage for government communication has been suspended since May 5.
