Google is actively expanding the presence of the Gemini chatbot based on artificial intelligence, which replaced Google Assistant; the corresponding application has appeared in a number of new countries, and the chatbot itself is now available in the Google application for iOS, the resource noted Android Authority. There’s no separate Gemini app for iPhone owners, but you can now activate the chatbot at the top of the main Google app. With the choice of a new AI assistant, the interface of the entire application changes—a large field for entering queries appears at the bottom. When you interact with Gemini on iOS, you can use text, voice, send images, and open the camera in the app. AI summarizes complex topics, generates code, writes text such as thank-you notes and emails, creates images, and more. iOS has its own Siri assistant, so there’s no way to call up Gemini on any screen for contextual help—that’s only available on Android.
