Google has integrated its AI coding agent, Jules, into developer workflows with a new command-line interface (CLI) and public API. These enhancements allow Jules to interact directly in environments like terminals and CI/CD systems. Kathy Korevec from Google Labs states, "We want to reduce context switching for developers." The CLI addresses “very scoped tasks,” while API access streamlines integration into existing tools. Jules offers a free plan with 15 daily tasks, while premium plans allow 5x and 20x usage for $19.99 and $124.99 a month, respectively.
