Infosys has completed the migration of NTN Corporation’s on-premise SAP Commerce-based e-commerce platform, called e-WINGS, to SAP Commerce Cloud 2211. NTN is a major Japanese manufacturer of precision equipment such as bearings. The project used Infosys Cobalt, the company’s suite of cloud services and platforms, along with Infosys accelerators and SAP Commerce expertise. The move was designed to keep business running without interruption. Benefits include automated version control for easier maintenance, higher daily operational reliability, and cost savings from cloud adoption. The new scalable architecture is meant to give NTN more agility for digital growth and free resources for innovation. Kenji Kitazato, head of ICT strategy at NTN, said the change streamlined IT operations and created a stronger base for future digital work. SAP Japan and Infosys Japan executives also highlighted the project as an example of rapid, low-risk enterprise transformation.
