Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) confirms a major cyberattack has significantly disrupted its global IT infrastructure, forcing the shutdown of critical systems. This decisive action comes amid a challenging climate, following a 49% plunge in pre-tax profits. JLR reported that its production facilities in the UK, Slovakia, China, and Brazil are affected, while retail operations face disruption. The company stated, "At this stage, there is no evidence any customer data has been stolen," as it works to restore services.
