Mahindra & Mahindra is expanding artificial intelligence across its businesses, with AI agents booking more than 91,000 test drives in its automotive operations. The company’s Q1 FY27 analyst presentation also shows 2,600 workshop staff using AI assistants at 85% adoption. The group-wide program spans automotive, financial services, and farm equipment under a framework of Quality.ai, Experience.ai, Reach.ai, and Efficiency.ai. Other applications include Paint.ai, which achieved a 90.6% first-time buy-off rate in the paint shop, and Simulation.ai, which predicts vehicle drag coefficients in under two minutes instead of more than ten hours. At Mahindra Finance, AI agents processed 65% of loan files in July and fulfilled more than five lakh customer service requests. The company reports more than 50 AI experts, 19 proprietary models, over 1,900 people trained through its AI Academy, and more than 15 transformation projects.
