They are the most common form of payment received by average firms, accounting for 54% of total revenue in U.S. mid-sized companies. According to PYMNTS Intelligence data, 33% of mid-sized companies, generating between $5 million and $25 million in annual revenue, receive ad hoc payments via instant methods. Nearly 6 in 10 of these companies are willing to pay a fee for this service and receive their payments instantly.
