Bonus, dividend, and buyback are three kinds of corporate events that listed companies on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) announce in a bid to reward their investors. The year 2023 has seen a flurry of such announcements. IFL Enterprises which is a multibagger stock, is all set to announce a triple bonanza for its investors. A BSE-listed stock has delivered over 1,000% returns since 2017. It has issued bonus shares twice and sub-divided the nominal value of equity shares once. The company is scheduled to announce bonus distribution, dividends, and share buyback from existing investors at a premium. The board will meet on November 1 to discuss these items. The promoter/group plans to acquire a stake of 2-9% in the company through open market transactions in 12-18 months. The small-cap stock operates in the paper industry and has been benefiting from the government's initiatives to boost the growth of the packaging industry.
