Nvidia plans to release a lower-cost AI chip tailored to the Chinese market in response to US export restrictions. The GPU, part of the Blackwell-architecture AI processors, is expected to be priced between $6,500 and $8,000, significantly less than the restricted H20 model. Nvidia's adjusted strategy aims at preserving its share in China's data center market, worth $50 billion. China represents 13% of the firm's sales.
