The NextSlide team has joined OpenAI and is now working on ChatGPT. Founder Ahmed Beshry announced the deal on LinkedIn and the company website, noting that the acquisition closed earlier in 2026 and the public notice came several months later. Financial terms were not disclosed. NextSlide is no longer available as a standalone product. Its site now shows only Beshry’s farewell message.
