OpenAI has launched Writing Styles for ChatGPT Work so the AI can learn how individual users write and match that style in future drafts. The official ChatGPT account announced the feature on X, saying it picks up favourite phrases, specific sign-offs and capitalisation quirks. The tool is limited to ChatGPT Work and is not yet available in the standard ChatGPT chatbot. To enable it, users must connect everyday apps such as Gmail, Google Drive, Slack and SharePoint. Once access is granted, ChatGPT Work reviews emails and messages to understand writing patterns and carries those patterns into new text. The feature is available on the web for all paid plans that include ChatGPT Work and can be set up under Personalisation in Settings. Anthropic previously offered a similar Styles option for Claude that relied on uploaded or pasted writing samples rather than live app connections.
