OpenAI has addressed a significant security vulnerability within its ChatGPT platform, which could have potentially allowed hackers to access Gmail user data without any interaction. Discovered by Radware's cybersecurity researchers in February, the flaw exploited hidden instructions in emails to leak sensitive data. Pascal Geenens of Radware highlighted that corporate accounts could have been compromised without users' knowledge. OpenAI has confirmed the issue is now resolved, reaffirming its commitment to user safety.
