Oracle Health announced new capabilities for its Clinical AI Agent that are now available in the United States. The updates add automated professional fee coding for ambulatory workflows, clinician-controlled dictation, and AI-assisted chart review. The coding feature analyzes conversations during patient visits and suggests professional fee charge codes inside the orders workflow. Clinicians review and confirm each recommendation before submission. Dictation lets physicians speak directly into any text field while the agent transcribes speech in real time for editing and finalization. Chart review surfaces relevant clinical context from across the EHR. The new tools build on earlier order-creation features and use semantic reasoning so agents share context across workflows. Oracle said note generation alone has already saved physicians more than 400,000 hours across U.S. health organizations since launch.
