Oracle has unveiled a $5 billion investment plan to expand its Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) across the UK over the next five years. The initiative aims to enhance cloud services for public and private sectors, focusing on healthcare, financial services, defense, retail, and manufacturing industries. Senior VP Siobhan Wilson emphasizes the investment's role in enabling AI-driven productivity and security improvements. The expansion will support Oracle's recent launch of 50+ AI agents within its Fusion Cloud Applications Suite, helping organizations streamline repetitive tasks across various business functions.
