Salesforce has introduced an Enterprise AI Harness, a common architecture that gives AI agents access to business context, reasoning, actions and enterprise controls across systems. The design brings together six capabilities: Trusted Context, Trusted Agency, Trusted Action, Trusted Governance, Trusted Security and Trusted Models. Alongside them sits a new AI Control Plane that acts as a central layer for managing AI agents and applications across an organisation. Trusted Context combines customer data with metadata, semantics, knowledge, real-time signals and memory. Trusted Agency handles reasoning, planning and orchestration. Trusted Action links AI to applications, APIs and workflows. Trusted Governance covers policies, lineage and guardrails. Trusted Security applies identity, permissions and runtime protection. Trusted Models lets firms connect different models and route work by accuracy, cost and need.
