SBA proposes changes to boost small business participation in federal multiple-award contracts

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) proposed a regulation on October 25, 2024, to broaden the use of the traditional “Rule of Two” in multiple-award contracts (MACs) in an effort to expand government contract possibilities for small firms. By extending this rule, the SBA intends to strengthen small business representation in federal procurement procedures.
