Elon Musk's SpaceX is set to launch next-generation Starlink V3 satellites by 2026, promising download speeds of up to 1 Tbps and 160 Gbps upload speeds. The V3 satellites, the size of Boeing 737 when unfolded, will feature laser communication systems and will orbit at 350 km to reduce latency. SpaceX plans to use the upcoming Starship 3 rockets for the launch, estimating to deploy around 5,000 satellites annually. Ground gear to handle V3 speeds is also being developed.
