The 1 Tambon 1 Digital (Chumchon Drone Jai) Project, a collaboration between MDES and depa in Thailand, aims to enhance drone-related knowledge among farmers. Envisioning 50 service centers nationwide within a year, the project seeks to integrate drones into agriculture, generating an economic value over 350 million baht. Aligned with Thailand's Growth Engine policy, the initiative focuses on digital capability enhancement. The inauguration, presided over by MDES Minister Prasert, highlighted collaboration in key domains such as unmanned aircraft research, defense industry development, and drone technology adoption in agriculture. Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon emphasized the project's goal to establish 50 service centers, enabling 500 communities to embrace drone technology in agriculture, covering 4 million rai of land. Training courses for operators and technicians, certified by the Civil Aviation Training Center, are expected to enroll 1,000 participants initially.
