According to two sources familiar with the agreement, Axios reported on Saturday that the U.S. government had authorized the transfer of cutting-edge AI processors to a Microsoft-run facility in the United Arab Emirates as part of the company's closely watched collaboration with Emirati AI company G42. Earlier this year, Microsoft invested $1.5 billion in G42, granting the American corporation a board seat and a minority share.
