Amazon has announced a $12 billion investment in northwest Louisiana, establishing new data center campuses anticipated to create 540 full-time jobs and support an additional 1,710 positions. This investment will also see up to $400 million directed towards local water infrastructure improvements. "We're creating hundreds of high-paying jobs," states David Zapolsky, Amazon's Chief Global Affairs and Legal Officer. The project aims to enhance local economic growth and community engagement.
