Apple has agreed to a $95 million settlement in the US over allegations that its voice assistant Siri recorded private conversations without user consent. The settlement follows a 2019 class-action lawsuit, which claimed Siri sometimes unintentionally recorded conversations. Eligible US users can now file claims for compensation, with the maximum payout being $100 per person.
