The app works by simply holding up a smartphone or tablet while inside the property, giving prospective tenants or buyers the ability to furnish the space in real-time. SparX's proprietary algorithm powers the platform, and it has received investment from the Israel Innovation Authority and various real estate investors. The AR platform is not only beneficial for renters and buyers but also for sellers and landlords, as it eliminates the need for costly staging of properties, potentially saving thousands of dollars. In this situation, Other companies offer technology to show house listings, including digital imagery to furnish an empty home. However, none use AR to recreate a fully furnished apartment or house while standing inside the property.
