Amazon Web Services (AWS) India has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) to support space technology innovation through cloud computing. This collaboration aims to provide space startups, research institutions, and students access to cutting-edge cloud technologies to accelerate space sector development. AWS will offer eligible space startups tools, resources, and technical support through the AWS Activate program, as well as access to the AWS Space Accelerator program. Additionally, the partnership will involve training initiatives in cloud computing, AI, machine learning, analytics, and security for students and educators, fostering the growth of space-related startups in India. This collaboration reflects a commitment to advancing innovation in the space industry for the benefit of the nation.
