Speaking at the ETCIO Cloud Summit, he argued that companies will soon judge systems by the business results they deliver rather than server counts or uptime. He called the new stage Cloud 4.0, driven by AI workloads, autonomous agents and fast-changing compute needs. Moving past pilots is the hard part. Anyone can download a model, but scaling it securely, responsibly and at reasonable cost is the real test for banks. Traditional planning based on predictable transaction peaks no longer works. AI demand swings quickly and needs evolving mixes of GPUs and supporting gear. Raghavendra expects intelligent hybrid setups to stay important, with some workloads kept on-premise while cloud supplies flexible capacity.
