The Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) has partnered with The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan (SMRJ) to facilitate global business expansion and information exchange between enterprises in India and Japan. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) covers various MSME sectors, aiming to enhance trade and investment policies and foster collaboration between the two countries. BCIC president emphasized the potential for increased trade volumes between India and Japan by 2030, The collaboration is expected to boost manufacturing contributions to India's GDP, promote technological advancements, and facilitate market expansion into emerging regions such as the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. BCIC, the first Indian industry body to establish an office in Tokyo, is planning delegation visits between India and Japan to promote knowledge sharing and technology excellence among MSME.
