The G20 leaders, in the New Delhi Declaration, recognized the vital role of startups and MSMEs in driving economic growth and innovation. They acknowledged the challenges faced by MSMEs, particularly in accessing information. The Jaipur Initiative was proposed to improve information flow to MSMEs. The declaration also endorsed measures like the G20 Remittance Target update and a Regulatory Toolkit for enhancing digital financial inclusion for MSMEs. Additionally, the G20 emphasized the responsible use of digital technology in agriculture and support for agritech startups and MSMEs. A World Bank policy paper explained how digital public infrastructure (DPI) can enhance financial inclusion for MSMEs by providing access to credit and financial services. The Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) prioritized improving access to finance for MSMEs as one of its key goals for the next three years.
