Geek+ robots UK retail warehouses | Justo Global

Chinese-made warehouse robots from Geek+ are increasingly handling the first steps of online orders for major UK retailers. More than 2,000 of the squat silver floor robots have been deployed across 10 sites by UK partner MotionTech. Clients include Tesco, Asda and Next. The robots glide under storage racks, lift entire shelves and carry them to waiting workers, speeding picking, allowing denser storage in hard-to-reach spaces and cutting errors. Unlike traditional systems that need fixed conveyors and permanent infrastructure, these autonomous mobile robots operate with floor QR-code markers and safety fencing. Britain has become Geek+'s largest European market. Many UK warehouses remain in the early stages of automation despite the country's large e-commerce and logistics sector. The shift is seen as one way to address long-standing productivity challenges. Geek+ builds and tests the fleets at its factory in Hefei, China, before shipping them worldwide.
