Google Cloud has launched Gemini Enterprise for Legal, a specialized AI platform for law firms and corporate legal teams. It uses purpose-built agents that can handle contract review, legal research, regulatory monitoring, brief drafting, and data subject access requests. The system connects securely to existing legal software such as iManage, NetDocuments, DocuSign, Everlaw, RelativityOne, and Thomson Reuters tools. Client data stays inside the firm's private environment and is not used to train Google models. Launch customers include Cleary Gottlieb, Freshfields, Weil Gotshal, and Williams & Connolly. The platform is available in preview and forms part of a wider set of industry solutions that also covers financial services. Firms can choose among models and add third-party agents through partners including Accenture, Deloitte, and KPMG.
