Google Arts & Culture has launched the largest ever online exhibition on Hindi Cinema, digitising the century-long history of the globally celebrated Hindi film industry. The exhibit uses technology like Google's Augmented Reality and Street View to offer an immersive experience across over 120 expert-curated stories and over 7,000 assets, including 5,000 hi-res images, 1,500 videos, posters, and songs related to films ranging from early classics to modern blockbusters. The exhibit is accessible to film enthusiasts and the public free-of-charge on the Google Arts & Culture platform. Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur promotes Hindi Cinema exhibit at Film Bazaar and Google Arts & Culture, featuring iconic films, industry legends, 3D virtual gallery space, and Hall of Fame.
