Google Translate is adding support for 110 new languages, its largest expansion yet, bringing the total to 243. Using the PaLM 2 AI language model, the update includes highly requested languages like Cantonese and several African languages. Most new languages are spoken by over a million people, with some spoken by hundreds of millions.
