Google has expanded the availability of digital IDs in its Google Wallet app across the U.S., allowing residents of Arkansas, Montana, Puerto Rico, and West Virginia to save their government-issued digital IDs. Users can use these digital IDs at TSA security checkpoints for domestic travel and other services. In the UK, residents can create digital ID passes using their passports, verify eligibility for select Railcards, and use them for alcohol purchases and other services. Google is also working with the U.K.'s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
