Govt of India and Meta launch 'Education to Entrepreneurship' initiative

On September 4th, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Meta (formerly Facebook) introduced an initiative called ""Education to Entrepreneurship: Empowering Students, Educators, and Entrepreneurs."" The main objective is to encourage young individuals to transform their education into successful businesses. At the launch event, Meta announced three key partnerships with the presence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar. They shared a letter of intent with the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Sandhya Devanathan, Head of Meta in India, emphasized Meta's commitment to India's future and how technology, including augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), can contribute to India's digital progress, especially in remote areas.
