Meta-owned messaging app, WhatsApp has recently introduced a new feature named Channels. This feature enables users to follow their preferred celebrities and news portals without sharing any of their personal information. However, some users find the feature distracting and would prefer to hide it. If you haven't updated your WhatsApp yet, you can continue to use an older version that doesn't include the Channels feature. If you have too many channels in the Updates tab of WhatsApp, you can hide them by generating enough status updates so that they are pushed to the bottom. However, please note that if you close and reopen WhatsApp, this setting will be undone, which means you will have to repeat the process again. This feature is currently available on both Android and iOS platforms. However, some people are worried that it might make WhatsApp more like a social media platform.
