Indonesia's Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs has launched an AI Center of Excellence through a partnership with Indosat, Cisco, and NVIDIA. This initiative focuses on enhancing AI capabilities nationwide by establishing a secure AI sandbox, providing training for over one million Indonesians by 2027, and supporting local startups. Minister Meutya Hafid stated, "Digital sovereignty can be built together," aiming for Indonesia to emerge as a leader in the global AI landscape.
