IP protection also boosts SMEs' revenue, as they generate up to 68% more revenue per employee. SMEs in Africa face limited awareness of IP benefits and registration processes, making their innovative ideas vulnerable. Robust IP enforcement is crucial to deter infringers and safeguard intellectual assets. Targeted initiatives like IP education, streamlined registration, and affordable support services can unlock SMEs' potential.
