LG Electronics has introduced the LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier, a high-tech face mask designed for comfort and conversation. Weighing 94 grams, the mask features a smaller, lighter, and more efficient motor, allowing up to eight hours of comfortable wear. The 1,000mA battery can be recharged in two hours via USB. The mask's ergonomic design minimizes air leakage and includes a built-in microphone and speaker with 'VoiceON' technology, amplifying the wearer's voice automatically during conversations. The 'LG DUAL' fans adjust airflow based on the user's breathing patterns. Tested by 120 Thai athletes heading to the Tokyo Summer Games, the mask is set to launch in Thailand in August, with other markets following regulatory approval.
