Mastercard and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) have partnered to digitalize SME payment flows in the UAE, aiming to drive growth and enable SMEs to meet their potential. The partnership will use Mastercard's technologies and resources, as well as ADGM's SME financing platform Numou, to provide a curated value proposition for SMEs, allowing them to focus on developing their offerings and pursuing new opportunities. Mastercard and ADGM will work with local banking partners to issue SME cards, offering a secure way to manage business expenses. Small businesses can also participate in Mastercard's SME business education program and support relevant businesses through Start Path, its global startup engagement program. Mastercard aims to integrate 50 million SMEs globally into the digital economy by 2025, partnering with ADGM to provide secure payment, capital access, and digital growth tools.
