Meta has introduced Muse, its new personal AI agent for everyday tasks and projects, available to users in the United States. The agent connects to apps and services such as email, calendars, payments, health and fitness, smart home, shopping and more. It can send emails, book travel, lower bills, fill out forms, turn recipe reels into grocery lists, send invitations and make purchases using Link by Stripe. Users choose which services to connect, one at a time. Muse is powered by Meta’s Muse Spark model and includes built-in connectors, with more planned. If no API exists, it can use a browser. Two paid plans launch alongside a free tier: Power at $20 a month and Maximum at $100 a month. Muse keeps working after the user leaves the app and learns from conversations to make suggestions. Meta says it runs in a dedicated secure virtual machine with a separate Sentinel agent, does not see passwords or payment methods, and does not share data with its ads systems.
